MCUW strives to be an equity-minded organization and leader in our service area. Our mission is to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another. We work with public and private partners to co-create solutions that ensure everyone has the resources, support, opportunities and networks they need to thrive.

We recognize that in order to fulfil our mission, we must dismantle disparities and work to engage residents and community members, especially those whose voices have traditionally been marginalized. Historically, United Way has been a leader in combining efforts of individuals of diverse backgrounds and we will continue that commitment to diversity and inclusion. By working together and by denouncing racism/ethical discrimination we will fulfil our mission and strengthen our community.
