History of Morrison County United Way

UnitedBanner.png

Since 1968, Morrison County United Way has served our community and taken a leadership role in ensuring the lives of those who live here are improved.

With your help, United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. Through your investment, United Way is able to address the critical needs that matter most to you and our community, and create a meaningful difference in people’s lives by: investing in nonprofit health and human service programs and services that address the most critical needs and deliver the greatest impact possible; implementing community impact initiatives and support year round programs that address new and emerging needs; and, forming strategic partnerships and collaborations—sharing responsibility and accountability for delivering meaningful and long-lasting results.

Our focus is on education, income and health – the building blocks for a good quality of life.

Basic Needs – meeting basic needs of food, shelter, safety and inclusiveness.

Education – preparing children to succeed in school and youth to succeed in the community.

Health – promoting wellness and health care access.

Income – moving families toward financial independence.

United Way recruits people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done. We invite you to be a part of our work.

You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer.

That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED!
